Paper stars are totally gorgeous after you have LOADS. If you have a large collection your star jars would look beautiful! Most people put in large stars for show ^^ After you've learnt this, you'll be addicted! XD


So how to make them? That is the reason of this tutorial!


Firstly get a peice of paper and cut out a thin strip. Preferably like this:


Now fold it into a loop like this:

Now put the end through like you are about to know it
Front view:



Sideview:




Now pull it tight and you should have a pentagon with a long tail.


trim the tail if its too long and slot it into the pocket next to it.


it should look like this:


Now the confusing bit. If you want to know if you're doing it right. EVERY TIME you should have these two folds:



Now bring the tail over



and pull it over the star



I still have the two folds in the star.


Keep pulling it around checking you have the folds every time.



In the end you should have a small tail. Now slot it into the pocket



YOU HAVE A STAR!! Now start ppinching the points.





You should end up with a star!
